Flutes

Chris makes two styles of flutes which he terms "Rudall" and "Pratten".

Chris's Rudall types are broadly based upon the flutes of Rudall and Rose who were amongst the best of 19th century flute makers they are constructed in four sections and have medium to large holes and bores.

Chris’s Prattens types are based broadly upon the flutes of Boosey. These have three sections with larger holes and bores than Rudalls.
